Do surveys pay? The answer is yes. Just not much. There are many survey sites out there that will pay you for your opinions. Personally, I feel that the ones making money out of surveys are the survey websites. Let’s face it, companies want consumers opinions and pay for them. This stuff is life’s blood for these big companies and they pay the survey takers for your valued opinions. The larger the response to a survey, the more valuable it is. Now, these survey companies must divide up this large sum among many survey takers. Then what they do is give you points for completed surveys. These points have a dollar value (small). The more surveys you complete, the more points build up and you redeem these points for cash or gifts. Usually the cash value is about ten dollars per 100 points.
As you can see, this 20 minute survey is paying at the rate of about $3.60 an hour, but you would be working from home and even $3.60 per is a lot better than 0. What some of them do is give you entries to prize drawings along with your points. This particular site has a monthly $10,000 drawing and you may get 2 or 3 entries with your points for completing this survey. Of course, if you can win this drawing, then it is certainly worth taking the survey and if you can win twice a year, it would be profitable to take these surveys. What are the odds? I must say that this is one of the better survey sites. Top ten, at least.

Myself, I consider taking surveys as time that can be better spent. That said, there are many people taking surveys. To each his own. It is good to give your opinion and it is valued. Here’s the thing nobody is telling you up front. Certain peoples opinions are of more value than others. For instance, a survey site maybe looking for certain demographics, like say housewives between 25 and 40 with a household income of 6oK per year.
If you like doing surveys and you fit their demographics, which means you’d be eligible to complete more surveys, then I think pineconeresearch.com is one of the best. My opinion.
I’ve researched many reviews and websites and according to consensus, these are the best survey sites. In no particular order:
I don’t recommend taking surveys, but if it’s your cup of tea, then have at it.
